'Tour Ready' edition
The MP-650 is a 'Tour Ready' 1770 maraging steel hybrid engineered to combine high average ball speeds and consistent distances in the hands of solid ball strikers.
As a Tour Ready edition, the MP-650 hybrid heads are from the same production line as those carried by Mizuno’s PGA European Tour Workshop. An easy launch and neutral left/right bias make the MP-650 more suitable to better players than normal hybrids.
The MP-650 is a stripped back concept that revels in its simplicity – with high spec materials, ball speed and impact sound prioritised over adjustability. The new 1770 maraging steel face and 431 steel body produces a combination of high initial ball speeds, and consistent distances.
A clean, refined head shape instills confidence at address while a well cambered sole delivers shot making ability from a variety of lies.

The downside ofmost hybrids is that they encourage a hook – the shot most tour players want to avoid
Generally hybrids tend to counteract the shot shapes better players are looking for. The downside of most hybrids is that they encourage a hook – the shot most tour players want to avoid. Plus they can produce some erratic distances.
The MP-650 is a rare hybrid in that it has a very neutral flight, allowing our pros to move the ball just a little in both directions. Plus the construction results in very consistent distances, which is key if you play at a higher level.
