Ultimate Dynamic Stability

The JPX800 fairway harnesses its HOT METAL energy within an extremely consistent 'Ultimate Dynamic Stability' design.
Consistently high ball speeds and near maximum R&A conforming distance are delivered from a wide area of the 1770 stainless maraging steel clubface thanks to increased stability on both its vertical and horizontal axis (UDS).
A straight high flight and easy launch will suit amateurs of all standards, while the square look at address and rolled toe will build on the tour appeal of its predecessor – the MX-700. The JPX800's 'Balanced Performance' design ensures that criteria of ball speed, feedback, forgiveness, and address position are enhanced hand-in-hand without either adversely impacting the other.
Mizuno's lightweight Exsar FS5 graphite shaft is fitted as standard with a range of custom options available.
Availability: 3w (15 degree), 5w (18 degree), 7w (21 degree) - right hand only.

"A squarer clubface promoted a better set up"
"Although it was primarily designed for amateur golfers, we had incredible success with the previous MX-700 fairway woods on tour. Once we bent open the clubface, Chris Wood actually preferred the trajectory and size of the MX-700 over the 'Tour Ready' MP model. Feedback from our National Fitting Centres inidicated that as modern fairway woods became easier to hit, 'closing off' the clubface was potentially more damaging than helpful. Contrary to popular belief, a squarer clubface promoted a better set up and more confidence for the majority of amateurs. In that light the tour version of the MX-700 became the blueprint for the new JPX800 fairway woods."
