Direct Long Iron Replacement (DLR)

The new MP FLI-HI is a stable, high flying, long iron replacement, designed to fit the flow of any MP iron set.

MP Fli-Hi

Aggressively Bevelled Sole

With reduced offset and minimal bounce (compared to its predecessor) the MP Fli-Hi has a playing profile that sits comfortably alongside the MP-68, MP-62, MP-58 and MP-52, with workability not neutralised in the quest for forgiveness.

MP Fli-Hi

HOT METAL Technology

The new MP Fli-Hi increases distance through use of a Hot Metal plasma welded, thin ES230 maraging steel face, attached to a high tech stainless steel body. This exotic design technology delivers high and consistent COR numbers for increased ball speed and distance. A Hollow Construction positions the COG low and deep for a high, controlled ball flight.

The MP Fli-Hi can be matched to the spec of any Mizuno irons set as part of a custom order.

This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

"Stronger ball strikers might just replace their 3 or 4 iron"

"The new MP Fli-Hi was designed using a lot of feedback from the tour. The blade players in particular felt the original had too much offset - reducing their chances of working the ball. A couple preferred the shallower profile of the MX-900 long irons which helped them to hit the ball a little higher".

"As a result the remodelled new Fli-Hi blends much better with the most traditional MP irons - especially the MP-68, and MP-62. Most of our tour players will replace their traditional 2 iron with an MP Fli-Hi. Amateurs might want to take them even further into the set, so they can use the sleeker MP models from the mid irons upward".
