Nicole Broch Larsen a close 2nd in 5 hole play off

Nicole continues her quest to make the LPGA Tour

In a weekend of near misses for Mizuno’s players, Nicole Broch Larsen and Luke Donald both fell just short of their goals.

With the Ladies European Tour on a break, Broch Larsen took the opportunity to travel to Florida and play on the Symetra Tour.  Donald was hoping to build on his 2nd place at The Heritage the previous week – in a quest to break back into the world top 50.

Both were in good positions with a round to play.  Broch Larsen lead by 5 at Florida’s Sara Bay, with Donald at The Valero Texas Open just 2 off the lead.

Broch Larsen finally lost in a five hole play off – after being one of only two players to shoot level par.  She now heads for Morocco on the Ladies European Tour.

Luke Donald finished T13 with a -7 total to finish a promising fortnight after 2nd place at the Heritage.
