New Line of Luxurious Fabrics for Spring / Summer 2015

Available to buy in stores March 2015

ZG0751_A1_Landscape_Posters5Mizuno has revealed its eagerly awaited Mizuno Pro Spring/Summer apparel collection, available to buy in stores March 2015. The unveiling marks the evolution from Mizuno’s established technical winter apparel into more trend orientated summer collections. The new collection is much expanded with 84 garments – from polo’s through to Merino knitwear and softly checked shorts and trousers.

Subtle patterns inspired by traditional Japanese origami and made using double mercerised cottons, more traditionally used by high end luxury brands to give an opulent finish to their garments, come together in Mizuno’s new line-up. The new apparel range also demonstrates a highly engineered fit giving a freedom of movement that is expected by professional level players.

Scott Hosie, the Head of EU Apparel, said, “The Mizuno Professional collection signifies a move into luxury and comfort summer apparel that sits very well alongside our technical winter line of waterproofs and wind wear. Japanese standards of design and material generally exceed what’s expected in a Western market place and that’s what Mizuno will be bringing with this collection”.

The new collection of polo shirts offers a selection of different styles and fabrics. Many containing Mizuno’s DryLite moisture management yarn that keeps the body dry whilst maintaining core body temperature. The fit and styling reflect that of a modern classic look, mirroring a position long held by Mizuno’s MP irons. The polo shirts are available in a range of colours, including Lime Light; Black; Bright White; Brilliant Blue; Dress Blue and Tigerlily.

The range continues with a selection of Merino knitwear, containing Mizuno’s WarmaLite technology which recycles escaping body heat, creating an insulating warm layer between body and sweater, as well as a wide selection of waterproof garments. All waterproof garments include Mizuno’s ImpermaLite technology which protects against up to 5,000mm of rain and in some cases, as much as 10,000mm. The collection is elegantly concluded with an assortment of luxury accessories. These include exquisite leather belts, featuring Mizuno’s famous running bird logo, and a range of caps both classic, such as the Tour Visor, made famous by Mizuno ambassador Luke Donald, and the innovative and sought after Chrome Cap, which offers UV protection.
