Mizuno JPX900 Tour irons win at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open

Win adds to 2017 highlights alongside US Open, Lyoness Open and St Andrews Old Course record.

The JPX900 Tour irons were played by another winner this weekend at the European Tour’s AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.  The win adds to a list of achievements by players using Mizuno irons in 2017.  The JPX900 Tour irons alone have been played by the winner of the US Open and Lyoness Open in addition to be used to shoot the new course record of 61 at the St Andrews Old Course.  All by players choosing to play the irons without sponsorship.

“There is a significant trend back to the players using mixed bags – rather than looking to tie in with a single manufacturer,” Jeff Cook, PGA Tour Manager.  “When money comes out of the equation, you get a lot more Mizuno equipment in players bags.”
